They can also become easily overwhelmed by too much sensory input, such as loud noises, strong smells, bright lights, or busy environments. They may need to retreat to quieter, less stimulating spaces to recharge.
Highly Sensitive People can often feel others’ emotions deeply. They are usually very empathetic and compassionate, which can make them excellent caregivers and supportive friends.
They are usually very aware of their surroundings and notice small details that others might overlook. This heightened awareness can make them excellent at tasks requiring attention to detail.
HSPs often have a lower threshold for physical pain and discomfort. They might be more affected by hunger, fatigue, or physical ailments.
It is very common for HSPs to be highly affected by others’ moods. Due to their empathy, HSPs can easily be influenced by the emotions and moods of those around them. They may feel drained by negative interactions or uplifted by positive ones.
